Just realized, based on this posting by Terry Teachout, http://www.artsjournal.com/aboutlastnight/2011/09/tt_a_study_of_reading_habits.html
that I did not read the last three novels of the "A Dance to the Music of Time." Hope to get to there soon.

P & G and HP
Hewlett Packard kicked out Leo Apotheker. While it seems that the board is covering themselves, it is still fascinating. So often it seems that the leadership of large companies seem to do funny things like one sees at P & G, constantly re-organizing in the faint hope that shifting people's offices and bosses will take the place of leadership and of giving consumers what they want. To see the board act forcefully against the shenanigans one finds is quite remarkable, although the HP board may be be a bit trigger happy.

Everyone seems to have discovered the "real thing" and believes that they are the first to do so.
